Three-Lakes Trail (route No. 71)
"This beautiful hike links Yverdon-les-Bains to Murten over three days, passing through Estavayer-le-Lac and Portalban. About 60 kilometres (38 miles) with no major difficulties, just the chance to be carried away by the poetic beauty of the lake shores. You can begin the route almost anywhere, taking in a stage by itself or combining the hike with a boat trip. The route is very well signposted and makes the most of the lake shores. Apart from Mont-Vully, most of the walk is on the shores, among alluvial forests, reed belts and fine sandy beaches."
